That is a great list, I particularly agree with number 10; be yourself. The groom asked you to be the best man, not a professional public speaker or the person you believe the audience wants to see, just you.
A well prepared speech is a must for a wedding; you want to be remembered for giving a touching speech and add to the splendour of the Bride and Grooms day.
