On the list are foods like steak and eggs for protein and Quinoa, kale and buckwheat pasta for fibre. The Goji berry is a surprising inclusion, but it seems these nutrient packed berries contain multiple amino acids that are the building blocks for proteins. There are other great super foods that aren’t on this particular list such as peanut butter which is loaded with protein. People who try to lose weight by starving themselves are usually the ones who end up raiding the refrigerator at night trying to appease the hunger pains. Eating protein and fibre loaded foods that can be enhanced with supplements are great ways to suppress the appetite while also eating well. Despite what many people believe, the “no pain – no gain” principle does NOT apply in nutrition management. If your stomach hurts from hunger then all you have managed to do is deprive yourself of essential nutrients and make your body believe it is starving. In this kind of scenario you will probably gain weight.

Re: 20 superfoods for weight loss

Got it. It’s just a matter of discipline. Food is the one of the essential things that man needs. Saving on food in times of recession is much easier than you think. In similar to what large supermarket chains would have you think, you can start saving on food expenses and not have to worry about payday loans to keep you and your family fed. First off, you never want to shop when you’re hungry, as you will likely up your discretionary spending. Second, it helps to cook from scratch instead of buying prepackaged food. It tastes better, its better for you, and it can be cheaper. Freeze leftovers for a later date, and if it comes down to it, eat less unnecessary foods like snacks and soda. You save at least extra hundred bucks a year if you saving on food actively. Believe me once you start doing this surely you’ll never afraid getting starve in the future.

Re: 20 superfoods for weight loss

nice post, that picture looks so yummy!<br>hehe

Re: 20 superfoods for weight loss

Try walking with a treadmill desk too.
